Antique 9ct. gold seal with intaglio in the form of a Roman  Gladiator’s head. The seal is an exquisite bottle green colour and the surrounding gold is decorated with 3 shield shaped symbols, which appear to be a thistle, a palm tree and possibly a rose? at the base of which is the hallmark. Each of these symbols is interspersed with a slim, concave beaded gold bar and this design is continued to the centre of each shield which extends to the bail. This seal / fob is of excellent quality. Weight: 7.67 gms. 

Note: The gold-tone chain is not supplied with this fob. It is for illustrative purposes only. This fob would be better on a thicker gold chain, worn at longer length.
